Although it may not feel like it yet with all the rain and flooding, the good weather is on its way. And there's nowhere better to be during the spring and summer than the "City by the Sea". There is plenty going on in Newport during April. Some of the highlights:
From the Vault #3 The most recent installment of From the Vault contains some great old shots of Doris Duke's Rough Point mansion. See multiple aerial shots from different angles, a painting of Doris as a child, her garden and one of her dogs. Check out her work. ABC TV Pilot Shot In Newport Body of Evidence, an ABC pilot, was shooting in Newport in March. The show will star Jeri Ryan from Star Trek Voyager and Dana Delany of Desperate Housewives. It wasn't easy to get access, but there are a few shots of some of the filming across the street from Marble House on Bellevue Avenue.
