The Hunter House, circa 1748, was used as a Revolutionary War headquarters for the French Admiral, Charles Louis d'Arsac. Newport (and this area in particular) was a hotbed of revolutionary activity during the 1770's. From here, you'll be just a 5 minute walk from bustling downtown Newport and all its unique shops, fine restaurants and historic attractions.

Isaac Kendall Room The Isaac Kendall Room offers a luxurious king-size bed, a bathtub perfect for relaxing, a shower, and glorious views of the harbor. Point Garden Room The Point Garden Room provides its guests with their own porch overlooking the picturesque garden and has a walk-in shower. Sarah Kendall Room This room is named for the lady of the house and features a queen-size bed, bathtub, and shower. Tower Suite The Tower Suite on the third floor has a comfortable sitting room, a lovely view of the harbor, a king-size bed and a walk in shower.
