A standout among the many great Newport bed and breakfasts, the La Farge Perry House is located in the Kay Street-Catherine Street-Old Beach Road Historic District.
The Inn is within easy walking distance of Broadway, Bellevue Avenue and bustling downtown Newport. The must-see Newport mansions and relaxing beaches are just a short ride from the Inn.
In addition to the fabulous food served by Innkeeper Midge Knerr (a former Newport chef) all guests enjoy preferred reservations at the renowned Spiced Pear Restaurant. The Spiced Pear is located at the Inn's sister property, the equally luxurious Chanler at Cliff Walk.
Does it get any better than this? Bowls of fresh fruit, homemade jams, pastries, brioche French toast, buttermilk pancakes served daily and Midge's specialty Eggs Benedict served every Sunday in the elegant dining room.
There are 5 beautifully appointed rooms, each including the following amenities:
In this room, named after the former owner, you'll enjoy its rich burgundy tones, crystal chandelier and four poster Queen sized bed. It also has a teal sateen love seat and desk and an oversized bathroom with marble floors and double Jacuzzi bath.

Commodore Matthew Galbraith Perry, who has a statue in his honor in Touro Park, was the Commodore of the U.S. Navy who compelled the opening of Japan to the West with the Convention of Kanagawa in 1854.
