Located in Newport Rhode Island's historic Point section (the same neighborhood my grandmother grew up in) on Washington Street, this charming New England Inn is directly across the street from Newport Harbor and the historic Hunter House.

The Hunter House, circa 1748, was used as a Revolutionary War headquarters for the French Admiral, Charles Louis d'Arsac. Newport (and this area in particular) was a hotbed of revolutionary activity during the 1770's.

From here, you'll be just a 5 minute walk from bustling downtown Newport and all its unique shops, fine restaurants and historic attractions.
