No matter what the season, you'll always find locals and tourists alike flocking to this Newport Rhode Island landmark. For almost 27 years, "The Brick" has been serving mouth-watering food in a unique, family-friendly environment.

Located in the heart of downtown Newport RI, near the corner of Thames Street and Washington Square, Brick Alley couldn't be in a better location. Once you pass Banana Republic, just look for the yellow three-story building on your left.

The Brick is situated close to many of the city's attractions and shopping areas (Brick Market Place and Museum of Newport History are right across the street), and is the perfect spot to stop and have lunch or dinner after a day of shopping and sightseeing.

Having many friends that have worked here over the years, and enjoying many meals here myself, I have no problem telling people how great the service and the food is here.

Whether you're looking to have a few (or many) cocktails at the bar, enjoy a burger or steak, or hold an event (Top o' The Brick can hold up to 170 people upstairs), this is the location to do it.

Brick Alley specializes in steaks, seafood and pasta, but is also well-known for its:

My personal favorites are the Sedona Burger (topped with pepper-Jack cheese, bacon and sliced fresh jalapeños) and Louie Murphy’s Chicken Nachos (mildly-spiced chicken breast chunks, melted cheese, salsa and sour cream). I'm getting hungry just thinking about them!

The lobster roll and the clam chowder are fantastic here as well. You might also want to try their Irish Coffee. Jameson Irish Whiskey gave it their "Best Irish Coffee Award" award 3 years in a row, and inducted Brick Alley into their Hall of Fame.

Of all the great Newport Rhode Island restaurants, this is one of the best. When you combine the location, ambiance, menu and service, you'd be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere.
